AVERAGE PIG is comprised of like-minded creatives who want to make the ordinary extraordinary.
Founded in 2016, the company is dedicated to telling the stories of those who normally get shouted over. With thoughtful new writing and fresh insight, Average Pig promises to challenge the way you think.
Average Pig are actors, producers, writers, collaborators, organisers, joke tellers and party throwers. Just give them a camera; a stage; a microphone; they’ll do the rest.

Caitlin Power: Artistic Director / Writer

Caitlin is a writer, actor and founder of the company. Her play, Tomboy which Average Pig have in R&D was originally developed through the Soho Theatre Young Company and was recently longlisted as the “top 10%” for this year’s Verity Bargate Award, which received over 1000 submissions. Caitlin has also written for Theatre 503, Junk Box Theatre and MissyMya Productions.

Amy Blair: Associate Artist / Actor

Amy founded the company with Caitlin in 2016 and co-created PIG PEN, Average Pig’s original new writing night.
Her post-drama school credits include work with The Lyric Theatre – Belfast, Dawn State Theatre Company and Theatre Alibi. She is also starring in The Girl with the Iron Claws at Dartington Live Theatre this December.

Nathan Foad: Associate Artist / Writer

Nathan is a writer and comedian. His original sitcom Big Boy is currently under option with Harry Enfield’s Balloon Entertainment and he has worked in several writers rooms for Brown Eyed Boy. He recently received a script commission from Channel 4 for online pilot Working Girl and works as a freelance copywriter.


Leonie Marzecki: Associate Artist / Producer / Director

Leonie is a producer and director.
She is currently working for Pretzel Films as a Production Manager, ensuring the delivery of a wide range of adverts and original content. Leonie has also directed various productions for HookHitch Theatre, most recently a play at The Arts Theatre, West End as well as her own short film; Bath.

Beth Mullen: Associate Artist / Actor

Beth is an actress and writer.
Winner of the Laurence Olivier Bursary Award 2013, four times Winner of Monologue Slam UK and the winner of the Triforce LA Connect award. Beth is currently writing a play as part of the Soho Theatre writer’s Lab, which Average Pig are developing with her. Previous writing includes solo show, Before Ariel, which was performed at the Clapham Fringe.
